APC restates Buhari’s commitment to ease economic hardship


The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday urged Nigerians to be assured that the current administration is committed to cushioninn their pains of the current economic hardship in the country by continuing to roll out palliatives

Reacting to demonstrations across the country by civil society groups to protest the current economic hardship, the party said that despite the current hardship, there will be light at the end of the tunnel as there can be no gains without pains.

This was contained in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, and made available to newsmen in Abuja, even as it appealed to Nigerians to remain steadfast in the face of current challenges as the government was working to get the country back on track.

The gathering(party)  recognized what it portrayed as model direct and polished skill showed by security and associated offices, especially the Nigeria Police Force, amid Monday’s dissent walks by individuals from some thoughtful society gatherings and famous people for and against the administration.

The announcement stated, “The flexibility to dissent calmly is a majority rule right and the APC will keep on defending the privileges of Nigerians to express their popularity based rights regardless of how they decide to inside the ambits of the law.

“As we keep on consolidating our vote based system, the APC asks our security offices to keep on adhering to the most elevated gauges of polished skill at all circumstances even as they keep on discharging their established obligations of ensuring the lives and properties of natives.”
