2019: Accord Party denies purported alliance with PDP


The Accord Party (AP) has denied the report in the media that the party has formed political alliance with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general elections.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja by the chairman of the party, Mohammad Nalado, he said there was never a time such meeting held anywhere, adding that even if there was a meeting where such idea was discussed between PDP and other opposition parties, Accord Party was never present.

He cautioned the individuals who are hawking the bits of gossip to be watchful of unjustifiable implication, including that the National Working Committee of Accord Party does not examine any collusion or merger with any gathering as being hinted in the indicated media report.

Hon. Nalado underlined that Accord Party is focused on giving administration to Nigerians, adding that it will keep on playing its part of a dependable resistance party in Nigeria, which will offer productive feedback to the decision APC on approaches that influences the general population of Nigeria.
